| Sports Week concludes at KCSCE | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 5 : The Sports Week which was started and organised in KCS College of Education (Women) from 28th of April, 2015 concluded today on 5th of May 2015.
The Convener Sports Committee Rajan Suri invited the Principal Prof. O.P.Sharma to address the students on the occasion. While addressing the students he complimented the students for their participation in different events during the week. He also lauded the role of the Sports Committee comprises of Rajan Suri (Convener) , Sneh Khanna and Rohani Sharma. Earlier Prof. Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest Prof. Romesh Verma HOD , M.Ed. wing of the College to encourage the participants. Prof. Verma congratulated the students for their zeal,enthusiasm and participation in overwhelming majority in different activities in a week long programme. He said that Sports and Games are no more extra but they are part and parcel of curriculum in the present scenario. No student can excel during his life time without the participation of Games and Sports. The faculty B.Ed. and M.Ed. wing also witnessed today's function and enjoyed the last event in the series i.e. Musical Chair. The Vote of thanks was presented by Sneh Khanna, Sr. faculty member of the College. The participants who secured their positions in different events during the said week are as follows, in Badminton (Singles), Heena Devi was the winner followed by Sapna Devi and Kimi Padihar. In Badminton (Doubles), Sakshi & Gurjeet was Winner while Sunita and Neha, Sangeeta & Jyoti were Runner's up and many others in various games. |
