Inter-zone sports meet of Jammu district begins 5/6/2015 12:23:25 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, May 5 : The annual inter-zonal sports meet of Jammu district, organised by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), got underway in four disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, VolleyBall and Wrestling in boys under-14 and under-17 age groups at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana, here today. In all, around 850 boys representing different zones falling under Jammu district are taking part in this two meet. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Deputy Director DYSS, Rishi Kumar. Principal of host Domana School, Govind Ram welcomed the chief guest and other distinguished gathering as also the participants. Among others present were district officer, Sukhdev Raj Sharma and Zonal Physical Education Officers of the participating zones. Kabaddi: Under-14 yr: Jammu Zone beat Arnia Zone 25-12 pts; Akhnoor Zone beat Bishnah Zone 20-10 pts; Miran Sahib Zone beat Jourian 21-06 pts; Chowki Choura Zone beat Marh Zone 23-17 point Kabaddi : Under-17 yr: Chowki Choura Zone beat Jammu Zone 25-15 pts; Bishnah Zone beat Dansal Zone 40-18 pts; Arnia Zone beat Marh Zone 34-14 pts; Miran Sahib Zone beat Gandhi Nagar Jammu 41-35 pts.
