Katra, May 15:A meeting of Karate Association of India was held here today under the chairmanship of its National President Parmod Chand Bhandari wherein modalities with regards to the 5th National Karate Championship were discussed.
The championship is going to be organized in association with Indian Red Cross Society Reasi district at Spiritual Growth Centre Auditorium Katra.
Bhandari, while speaking on the occasion said that Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi and Chairperson IRCS Reasi district would be the Chief guest of the occasion and Rakesh Wazir, Exective General Secretary Indian Red Cross Society and Chief Warden Civil Defence Reasi District would be the guest of honour.
He said that the participants from all over India including Punjab, J&K , Himachal Pardesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra- Pardesh would be participating in this championship and there would be approximately 150 fights on the final day. |
