DC Kishtwar inaugurates inter-zone tournaments 5/15/2015 10:49:54 PM Early Times Report KISHTWAR, May 15: The inter zone tournament of under 17 and under 14 category of boys and girls was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Mohammad Javed Khan at Government HSS (Girls) Kishtwar. The tournament has been organized by District Youth Services and Sports Department Kishtwar. Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that sports activities are an important part of the school curriculum which help in moral, physical and mental development of the students. He said district Kishtwar has an abundant sporting talent which needs to be explored and the sportsmen needs to be facilitated so that they can compete at state, national and international level. He appreciated Youth Services and Sports Department Kishtwar for their sports related activities and said that such type of sports activities help in channelizing the energy of youth and help to keep them away from social evils.
