Latti injured moved by GMCH doctors | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 15: In a major road accident in Latti where a passenger bus fall in to a gorge killing 24 persons and injuring about 30, Dr Akhil Gupta who is serving in GMC Jammu was shocked to know about the accident at his birthplace. He immediately contacted Dy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, MoS Finance Pawan Gupta, MLA Ramnagar Pathania and apprised them of the peculiar circumstances and demanded airlifting of victims. The injured got shifted to GMC Jammu and Principal GMC and hospital administration was already informed about the situation. Special team of doctors was ready to give them best possible emergency treatment. Dr Akhil Gupta said with the cooperation of airforce medics and GMC police volunteer's all the patients recieved and doctors gave their best to save the life. Today we operated a case of both bone forearm fracture team led by Dr Sohail orthopaedic an Dr Neha, Dr Akhil anaesthetist keeping in mind the speedy recovery of patients. Some patients are being treated in MH Udhampur, Dr Akhil Gupta contacted on phone with his senior colleagues who assured him help. Dr Akhil sympathised with the families of deceased and assured full treatment facilities to all the sufferes with the cooperation of principal Dr Ghanysham Dev and doctors of GMC along with paramedical staff of hospital. |
