JMC continues ‘Clean Jammu Green Jammu’ drive in Channi 5/16/2015 12:11:44 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 15: In continuation to monitor the special sanitation drive under the title “Clean Jammu Green Jammu” in different wards of Jammu city, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Saujanya Sharma alongwith Health Officer JMC Dr Mohd. Saleem Khan visited various wards today including 49 and 51 and inspected the sanitation in the areas. Pertinently the ‘Clean Jammu ….’ drive was launched by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker of J&K Legislative Assembly from Channi Himmat Jammu on April 29. According to the official spokesperson, on spot assessment of the sanitary conditions and performance of other Municipal services was made and necessary instructions were issued for improvement of civic amenities. During the visit Commissioner JMC and alongwith other officials took round of different lanes and bylanes of mentioned wards. “About 25-30 truckloads of garbage, silt and wild weed was removed by sanitation staff of JMC from the lanes and drains of these wards, spokesperson said and added, “the same was disposed off at Municipal dumping ground at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu under standard operating procedures.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
