Safai-Karamcharis, daily wagers of Reasi MC call off strike 5/16/2015 12:16:24 AM Early Times Report Reasi, May 15: The Safai- Karamcharis and daily wagers of Municipal Committee Reasi today called off their strike on the assurance of the MLA Reasi, Ajay Nanda. MLA informed the striking Safai Karamcharis that Government was proactively considering their demands and issues would be settled soon. Deputy Director ULBs, Bashir Lone also gave a detail about various steps being taken by the department. MLA assured the daily wagers and Safai Karamcharis that he will personally take up their issues with Administrative Secretary and Minister for Housing and Urban Development Department. Based on assurance of MLA, the employees called off their strike, which is proved to be a great relief to the people of area.
