| RKS organizes felicitation function | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 15: Rashtriya Kavi Sangam (RKS) today organized a felicitation function in which Yashpaul Nirmal on being awarded with the Sahitya Akademi Translation Award 2014, a book release function were also held here at press club.
According to press release, two books of Yashpaul Nirma! entitled "Dus Lekh" (collection of articles) and "Devi Pooja Vidhi Vidhan: Samaj Sanskritik Adhyayan" which was translated by Dr. Susheel Sharma's Punjabi book and a multilingual "Kavi Samelan".
MP Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest while Vice Chairman Kisan Advisory Board Daljit Singh Chib was the special guest. MLA Chamb Dr. Krishan Lai, Additional Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn and Bhupinder Koishik Trustee Rashtriya Kavi Sangam were the guest of honour.
Two Introductory papers on Yashpaul Nirmal's books "Dus Lekh" and " Devi Pooja Vidhi Vidhan Samaj Sanskritik Adhyayan" was presented by the eminent Dogri Hindi writers Neeru Sharma and Dr. Sunita Bhadwal which were highly appreciated by the audience.
National President Rashtriya Kavi Sangam Jagdish Mittal congratulated to Yash Paul Nirmal on being awarded with the Prestigious Sahitya Adademi Award and to the entire Dogra Community and Literatures of all the languages on this occasion. He also appreciated the poets who recite their poems. He also said that the Nation needs such Poets who create awareness among the public and especially among the youths of over country.
Eminent writer and Journalist Dr. Balram Saini conducted the proceedings of the program very ably. Vice President of Rashtriya Kavi Sangam, Jammu Kashmir and renowned Dogri poet Narinder Singh Chib presented vote of thanks. |
