Reasi, May 15 : The District level Inter-Zonal competitions, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi are in full swing.
In the Inter-Zonal Tournament in boys section in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, and Wrestling under the age group of 14 and 17 years Reasi Zone remained overall champion followed by Mahore Zone.
The three-day tournament was conducted under the supervision of District Youth & Sports Officer, Dr SS Chib.
The U-14 and U-17 boys, Zone Reasi claimed Kho-Kho title by defeating Zone Mahore , while in Kabaddi boys U-14, Zone Mahore defeated Zone Pouni and in Kabaddi U-17 Zone Pouni defeated Zone Arnas.
In Volleyball U-14 boys, Zone Pouni defeated Zone Reasi and in Volleyball U-17, Zone Mahore defeated Reasi.
Under-14 Years Boys wrestling, in 32 Kg weight category , Reasi Zone defeated Arnas Zone, in 35 kg weight category, Reasi Zone defeated Pouni Zone and in 41 kg weight category , Reasi Zone defeated Chassana Zone.
Under-17 year's boys wrestling, in 46 kg weight category, Mahore Zone defeated Reasi Zone, in 50 kg weight category, Reasi Zone defeated Arnas Zone and in 54 kg weight category, Reasi Zone defeated Pouni zone. |
