Ramban, Aug 4: The Department of School Education (Ramban) today conducted accounts training programme on the maintenance of accounts here at Government Girls High School, Batote. The training was imparted to the DDOs by the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO), Directorate of Education, Jammu, Dhiraj Kumar Jandial and Accounts Officer, Lecturer Love Kumar in presence of the chief guest, CEO, Mohd. Sharief Chauhan. As many as 90 trainees including 6 Zonal Education Officers, 44 Head Masters, 25 Office Assistants and a DIET official of Ramban district were trained on the various aspects of the accounts maintenance. On the occasion an interactive session was also held between the trainees and the Resource Persons. The purpose of the training was to avoid the gap in the figure work of budget formulation; to corporate those figures to project the liabilities; to deal the arrears part of the salaries of teachers and to deal the regular salary component under the NPS head No.2202 major Head. Besides this the details of rented school buildings, electric metered, unmetered, un electrified and on Flat rate metered school buildings was also collected from the trainees on a format. He said this exercise would save the repeated trips of these DDOs to the office of the Directorate of Education at Jammu. |
