DPS Nagbani organises Inter-House Badminton competition

Jammu, Feb 21: With the aim to promote healthy competition, DPS Nagbani organised an Inter House Badminton Competition. The initiative of the match was taken to create an environment for empowering the talent of children who will become pride of the nation in future.
It was an excellent competition conducted under the guidance of Sports Teachers.
Students of DPS Nagbani participated enthusiastically in the competition and showed their techniques.
In the finals, the students gave their best and the shots were almost continuous. The students involved themselves in healthy and fierce competition among all the houses for the first place.
However after some really close and nail biting finishes, Ganga House won the match. In girls' category, Mannat of Class V stood First, Urvika of VI stood second and Porshia of V stood third.
In Boys' Category: Rishav of VII stood First, Pranav of VII stood Second and Admya of VIII stood Third.
The Principal of the school, R K Verma awarded medals to the winners and appreciated the efforts of the players and said that mastering how to play badminton is a real work out for the body and mind. So it involves an element of strategy to play the game correctly.
