| Training programme for MOs, Paramedics organized | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Feb 21: The two days training programme of Medical Officers and Paramedics working under ISM concluded at District Headquarter Doda on Wednesday which was organized by Department of Indian System of Medicines. During the two days training programme, scores of Medical Officers and Paramedics from District Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar participated who were given training about National Ayush Mission. The training programme cum workshop was inaugurated by Assistant District Medical Officer (ADMO) ISM Doda Dr R K Shan. In his inaugural speech, ADMO ISM Doda Dr Shan laid stress on prevention and promotive aspects of AYUSH System of Medicines.
The training was given by Dr Mubashir Hussain Mintoo, Dr Ashwani Kumar, Dr Masood Iqbal and Dr Irfana Gudroo who imparted training on different topis which includes life style disorder, gynecological disorder, menstrual health and yoga in management of stress.
The aim of the training was to impart skills in Medical and Paramedical Staff about involving the local population in maintaining the preventive and promotive aspects of AYUSH besides the field staff on this occasion were also instructed to conduct regular health awareness camps and sanitation drive in their respective areas whereas all the Medicos and Paramedical Staff have been exhorted upon to provide better health services to the needy people. |
