JSS Kathua shines in Open District Speedball Championship

Kathua, Feb 23: Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua brought laurels to the school by clinching medals in Open District Speedball Championship - 2018 conducted at S.K Farm Kathua on 10th Feb 2018 by Indian speed ball Fedration. More than 300 students participated in this championship from different schools. Speed ball is a national game of Egypt. It increases the concentration level of the students and helps in to improve the calculation. Our 38 students participated in this championship and got 17 medals. Isha Bharti and Rajveer Singh from (8th class) clinched gold medal, Vipul (6th Class), Nitan (7th), Natasha (8th Class), Himanshu (8th Class), Aditi (9th Class) won Silver medal. Harshit (5th Class), Nivedita (5th Class), Lavya (5th Class), Mridul (6th Class), Kartik (6th Class), Aarav (7th Class), Shruti (8th Class), Drishty (9th Class), Nishkarsh (9th Class) Aniket (9th Class) got bronze medal. Sahil Janjua (Speed Ball Coach) trained the students very well and also prepared them for inter-state championships. Principal Shuchita Gupta honored the students with the medals and encouraged them to participate in such types of events and it makes our body fit and strong .In future also such participation are always welcome to boost the confidence level in the students.
