Poonch, Feb 23: Although state government especially Public Works (R&B) Department framed the rules of surety of thirty six months of blacktopping on any roads, but PWD Poonch is deliberately violated the said rules.
According to the sources, "there are many roads in border district Poonch including Poonch to Mangnar, Poonch to Mandi, Poonch to Surankote, Poonch to Banwat, Poonch to Islamabad, Shahpur, Mandi to Loran, Mandi to Sawjian, Mandi to Plera, Mandi to Fatehpur, Sathra to Gali Pindi, Poonch to Jhulas and many others which are in dilapidated conditions and concern department is unmoved".
Locals from mentioned areas have allegedly informed early times that the concern contractors handed in gloves with concern department have used substandard for the construction of the roads and their macdamisation.
The said roads and many others in backward district Poonch are unable to move the buses over them, locals informed.
They have appealed to minister Naem Akhter to conduct an inquiry into the matter and take necessary action against negligent officials. |
