| Speaker's bother in law thrashed: Accused get interim bail | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: Both the accused allegedly involved in thrashing of brother-in-law of Speaker of Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta were granted interim bail on Friday.
Police sources said that both the accused are brothers. "The accused Harpreet Singh alias Honey and Harry Singh sons of Harjeet Singh were arrested by Bakshi Nagar police on Wednesday for allegedly thrashing Manmohan Gupta- a retired LIC employee," they said.
"A case under FIR no. 31 of 2018 under sections 452 and 323 of RPC was registered t Bakshi Nagar police following the complaint of Manmohan Gupta who was admitted in the hospital for couple of hours.
Further investigation in the case is going on," the sources added. |
