Jammu, Feb 25: Mohalla Committee of Gorkha Nagar in Bahu Fort area today conducted the elections to elect the President of Mohalla Committee of Gorkha Nagar. Karuna Chhetri, a well energetic and honest lady of the area has been declared elected as President of Mohalla Committee. In the election total 1451 votes were polled. Karuna bagged 898 votes and was declared President. She hailed the residents for making her successful and ensured them that she will continue to work hard for the betterment of people of the area. |
