Shiv Sena seeks strict action against stone pelters, holds protest at Miran Sahib
2/25/2018 11:51:42 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 25: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray) had asked the Central Government to awake from deep slumber and take strict action against stone pelters and separatists in Kashmir.
To express their resentment against the state government, the Shiv Sena activists today staged a strong protest demonstration at Miran Sahib. The protest demonstration was organized under the leadership of State President of the party Dimpy Kohli and led by Sanjeev Sharma (RS Pura District President).
On the occasion, while expressing his views Dimpy Kohli said that the state government has totally failed to respond appropriately to the situation created in the wake of the killing of Hizbul Commander Burhan Wani and the resultant turbulence witnessed in the Valley. After the death of Burhan Wani stone pelters are regularly targeting the security forces and incidents of stone pelting are occurring almost every day.
He said that violence is increasing day by day in Kashmir valley whereas State Government is sitting as a mute spectator to all this. Besides this, the State Government is totally supporting the stone pelters and singing songs on the tunes of separatists. Dimpy said that annual holy pilgrimage is starting in the month of June and the violent incidents in the Kashmir valley are a matter of great concern regarding the security of Amarnath pilgrims.
