Jammu, Feb 25: In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevani', launched by District Police Jammu against drug mafia, today Miran Sahib police claimed to have arrested two youth and recovered 2 gram heroin like substance from their possession.
"Today after getting specific information two persons identified as Wali Mohd and Sadiq Ali both residenst of Kothey Salehar who tried to dodge Police cops were apprehended from Kullian Naka and recovered about one gm of Heroin like substance (Chitta) each from their possession", said police spokesman.
In this regard case under FIR No 32/2018 under section 8/21/22/NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib.
Arrest was made by Inspector Ajit Singh, SHO PS Miran Sahib along with ASI Yougal Sharma in-charge police post Kulian under the close supervision of Surinder Choudhary, SDPO R S Pura, Romesh Kotwal SP HQ Jammu and under overall supervision of SSP Jammu, Vivek Gupta. |
