The state president Vinod Sharma and state chairman Abdul Aziz Gazi were the special invitees in the meeting chaired by provincial president Rajesh Singh Jamwal. The meeting was attended by executive members of the Forum. While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma expressed his concern over the plight of SSA teachers of the state who are without salary for last three months due to which these teachers are unable to provide basic amenities to their families. He said that though the education minister and finance minister have been trying to resolve the issue but delay in releasing the salary has been putting the teachers in trauma and the government must feel their sufferings and come up with the permanent solution of this burning issue.
Highlighting another burning issue of Transfer policy for regularized ReTs, he demanded immediate comprehensive transfer policy as teachers are suffering badly as they have been working in the same schools for last more than 15 years and even education minister has assured on the floor of the House to frame transfer policy but orders in this regard are still awaited and regularized ReTs have been waiting for the same quite patiently.
