Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 19: The Department of Indian System of Medicines Jammu and Kashmir organised an awareness camp under National AYUSH Mission at border village of Baspur in R S Pura. The camp was attended by large gathering of people including Sarpanch, Ex, Sarpanch and Lamberdar and students of said village. As per the press release, the camp was organised under the supervision of Dr. Aditya (Medical Officer) and with the active co-operation of Pharmacist Om Parkash of ISM Dispensary Baspur. On the occasion, important information regarding aims and objectives of AYUSH mission of the government including preventive and curative measures of communicable and non communicable diseases and its disorders were explained by Medical Officer Dr. Aditya. After the camp the general public took the advantage ayurvedic treatment also. He said that the main purpose of the mission is to promote public outreach programme and yoga in various educational institutions besides educating people about the benefits of AYUSH treatment. |
