Jammu, Mar 19: "2nd Abhishek Memorial Sports Meet" organized in Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in which all institutions working under the aegis of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) participated. About 300 sportsperson took part in indoor and outdoor games.
In this, two days mega sports event, sports persons from IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp won laurels by winning in five events. In team events, they stood top in Kabaddi (Boys), Kho-Kho (Girls), while Prachi Gupta of 4th sem. E&C, Ashish Koul of 2nd sem. Civil and Ritesh Pathania of 4th sem. Computer Engg. Deptt. won top position in Badminton (Girls), Badminton (Boys) and Chess (Boys) respectively in individual events.
The medals in other sporting events were shared by sportsperson from YCET, Tawi Technical Campus, Shahpur Kandi Pathankot and Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu. |
