Jammu, Mar 19: Career Counselling Cell of GDC R.S. Pura in collaboration with National Skill Development Council, Government of India organized one day Mega Recruitment Drive under UDAAN in the college campus today under the supervision of Prof Jugal Kishore Convenor, Career Counselling Cell and Programme Co-ordinator for Udaan. The drive was inaugurated by Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the college in the presence of the other staff members and the visiting corporate. In the drive, a total of 3 Udaan Corporate Partners viz. Rooman Technologies, Quess Corporation, Mount Talent Consulting visited the college under the leadership of Ajay Pal Singh, Mobilisation Officer, Strategic Projects, NSDC. An interactive session was also organised in which visiting Corporate aware the students of the college regarding the Udaan- an employment scheme for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir by the Govt. of India. Principal of the college while interacting with the visiting corporate and the participating candidates, applauded the initiative of the NSDC for organising such an employment generating platform for the youth of the Jammu and Kashmir and advised the students and participants to reap the full benefit of such type of employment generating programs and expressed her desire of organising such activities in the campus in future also. A total of 36 students participated in the recruitment drive with a total of 7 selections. |
