| JKMEF stages protest demonstration | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 12: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation staged a protest/ Dharna at Madam Shashi Bala Memorial Park in the premises of Directorate of Health Services Jammu under the dynamic leadership of Sushil Sudan President of Federation.
In today's protest Dharna Medical Employees of almost all the categories participated from all over the Jammu province. The leaders/representatives of the Block Units, District Units and Provincial Units highlighted their grievances which are very much lignite and genuine. Vinod Kumar Sharma Secretary General JKMEF welcomed and applauded all the Health Employees for their enthusiasm in the struggle to redress their grievances. The burning demands of the JKMEF were DPC orders of all the categories should be issued immediately, Amendment of SRO 20 dated 24-02-1992 which is pending since more than 15 years be implemented without further delay, Upgrade the posts of Pharmacists as Sr. Pharmacist, Sup. Pharmacist, Head Pharmacist, Block Pharmacy Officers and District Pharmacy Officer, F.T.A of Field staff (Malaria/Leprosy) be enhanced from Rs. 45/- to Rs.1000/- per month, Promotion of Female Multipurpose Health Workers who are trained LHVs in New OHCs and 50% quota should be fixed for promotion as Health Educators and rank promotion should be given to FMPHWs at par with Pharmacists, Laboratory, Dental Technicians and others. |
