Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch, Apr 18: Irked by unending wait for completion of Azmabad-Atoli road, the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement led by chairman, Javid Iqbal Reshi today visited Atoli, the far flung area of tehsil Mandi and heard public grievances. According to a press release, "the people of Atoli, Surooi, Padar, Chella A and B and Dhangri lack all basic necessities like, water, ration deport, panchayat works like MGNREGA, SDRF etc and shortage of teachers. Locals have expressed their anguish over non seriousness of the government. They said, road from Azmabad-Atoli to Surooi which was firstly undertaken by NABARD in 2010-11 and then by PMGSY during 2015, damaged agricultural land and crops. About ten residential houses are now at danger, they added. They demanded immediate action and probe into the matter. |
