Kupwara, Apr 21: The Kupwara unit of All Jammu and Kashmir Clerrical Association staged protest demonstration outside DDC office Kupwara, today.
Scores of clerks working in various departments in Kupwara on Saturday staged a protest demonstration under the banner of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerkal Staff Association against the alleged negligence of the government towards their cadre. The main demand of the employees was the removal of pay disparity.
Vice President of the Kupwara Association, Ab Ahad said that the employees were on pen down strike against the pay anomaly and demanding fulfillment of demands promised to them by the govt." |
