Jammu, Apr 21: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber conducts Govt of India campaign "GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAAN" in the villages Deoli, Mohdmud Pur, Badwal & Geegrial under the Branch Offices Deoli, Bishnah & Khour District-Jammu.
Sumit Sharma, Branch Head along with Ravi Kumar official from Branch Office Deoli, conducting a programme of campaign Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan an initiative for reaching out to the poor households in villages of districts Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba and Kishtwar.
The programme was focus on maximum enrolment of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY). They appreciated the gathering of the locality for making interest in the social security schemes and applauded that the bank is making extraordinary efforts to make the national programme of social security schemes a big success.
At least 400 people attendant the camps and a hundred of enrolments was done during the programme.
The initiative was plans to spread awareness regarding the various schemes of the bank with special rate of interests including Car [email protected]%, Housing [email protected]% and Transport Loan@9%. The masses will be about technological innovations in banking industry including NEFT/RTGS, Online Banking, IMPS, SMS Banking, Rupay Card, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System & Direct Benefit Transfer etc. to promote the digital banking and move towards the less-cash economy. |
