| CPPWU demands CISF for protection of Dam, Power house | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 21: Chairman Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar , Joginder Bhandari has urged upon the General Manager Dul Hasti Power station to use CISF security only for the protection of assets of NHPC not for the protection of AFCONS Infrastructure limited engaged for the execution of Pakal Dul HEP .
Bhandari said that the AFCONS management has been given accommodation at Dul Dam site and the CISF deployed at the site did'nt allow the unemployed youths and contractors to meet the management of AFCONS limited which has caused a brewing resentment among the youths and contractors. Chairman Chinar Power Projects Workers Union Joginder Bhandari has urged upon the Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt limited to deploy own security for Pakal Dul hydroelectric project and AFCONS management should be asked to establish their office in town Kishtwar so that the unemployed youths and contractors could be able to put forth their grievances with the management . Bhandari further demanded first priority of employment should be given to high skilled/Skilled/Semi Skilled/ un-skilled and white color job to local youths of District Kishtwar in Pakal Dul HEP .It may be worth to mention here there is a large number of trained youths available in District Kishtwar who have successfully executed Dul Hasti and Baglihar HE projects . |
