Barnoti, Apr 21: Kartar Public School organized a function to celebrate Earth Day.
Inter-house competitions were held on the topic to generate awareness and understanding. For classes I to V, it was cursive and calligraphic writing competition. For classes VI to VIII, it was creating writing competition and for classes IX and X, it was poster making and slogan writing competition.
Harpreet Kaur, Secretary-cum-Principal of the school supervised the "Earth Day" celebrations. Speaking on this occasion, she said that the earth is a living planet meant for all kinds of organisms. It is our bounden duty to protect the ecological balance and biodiversity. She said that at KPS, grooming of the children is a continuous process to turn out constructive citizens. |
