Harsh seeks cancellation of all transfer orders by outgoing ministers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Chairman and former Minister Harsh Dev Singh has called for review of all such orders issued immediately before and after their resignations by BJP ministers from their respective ministries. He said that there were reports of several back dated transfer orders having been issued by several BJP Ministers after having submitted their resignations in total disregard for the principles of probity, propriety and morality so loudly trumpeted by its central leadership. Not only that several suspension orders of Health Deptt officials were issued by the Health Minister after having voluntarily submitted his resignation to the party leadership, rued Harsh. He said that it was unprecedented in history that some Ministers should issue orders of transfers or suspension even after having relinquished their ministerial positions. "When you have surrendered your powers in writing how can you exercise the same" questioned Harsh adding that the demagogue ministers had provided the most glaring example of political debauchery. He was addressing a press conference in Jammu today. |
