BJP polarizes society for vote bank: JKPCC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: JKPCC Chief Spokesperson and former MLC Ravinder Sharma blamed the BJP for polarizing the society for vote bank and threatening the traditional harmony in the state especially in Jammu region. He appealed the people to maintain traditional brother hood at all costs. Sharma was speaking in a meeting of party workers at Sunderbani, today. He said that BJP is making regular attempts to create a wedge in the communities which have lived in peace and harmony for centuries and maintained brotherhood despite provocations. The wrong approaches of the present government towards various issues have threatened the traditional peace and harmony in the state especially in Jammu region. He held BJP Ministers responsible for creating uncertainty in the Govt., especially at a time when there is Darwar Move and people have suffered a lot. It is a peculiar situation when a Minister after tendering his resignation suspended over two dozen employees. It is also unfortunate that Deputy Chief Minister has indulged in transfers in Forest Dept., while others are conducting tours. The present PDP-BJP Govt. has ignored the genuine demands and aspirations of people and indulged in all unfair means, he added. Sharma appealed to the people to maintain peace and traditional communal brotherhood at all costs. He also asked the party workers to defeat the designs of forces who are out to divide the society on communal lines for their vested interests. |
