| JK High Court Legal Services Committee organizes National Lok Adalat at Jammu, Srinagar | | 13 cases settled, Rs 45.92 lakh compensation awarded | |  JAMMU, Apr 22: The J&K High Court Legal Services Committee under the Patronage of the Chief Justice (Acting) High Court of J&K (Patron in Chief, J&K State Legal Services Authority) and guidance of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey Judge High Court of J&K Chairman High Court Legal Services Committee organized National Lok Adalat at both the wings of the High Court Jammu and Srinagar on 22 April, 2018.
In Jammu wing of the High Court 02 Benches were constituted, whereas, at Srinagar wing of High Court 03 Benches were constituted.
7 cases of MACT, 1 SWP Matter and 5 cases of Bank recovery (Pre-Litigation) were settled by both the wings of High Court. They also compensation awarded Rs 45.92 lacs. |
