| Police must take all efforts to trace out missing youth: Sheikh Nasir | | "MLA be summoned for questioning as a part of investigation" | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 22: People's Democratic Party District President Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain has stressed upon the police to take all efforts to trace out the missing youth of Srawan Keshwan in Inderwal constituency. He has also suggested that as a part of investigation police must summon local Congress MLA for questioning who hasrecently disclosed before media that the missing youth has been murdered.
While talking to media persons Nasir has said that Tariq Hussain S/o Ghulam Rasool of Srawan in Keshwan is missing since last month and till date his whereabouts are not traced. He has further said that number of times he too has approached the Police authorities to trace out the missing youth and a missing report was lodged in the police post in the case.
Though the matter is being probed by police from all angles, but till date nothing has come out. Sheikh Nasir has said that recently MLA Inderwal has openly disclosed that the youth has been murdered which reveals that MLA is either witness to the incident or himself involed as such his custodial interrogation is required to unveil the truth.
Nasir has further said that people have full faith in the police and are hopeful that soon police will get a break though as it has done excellent task in past and several blind cases were solved. He has also appealed people to cooperate with the police. |
