MPEJ demands hanging of Rassana murder case accused in public | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 22: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice in a press release issued here, have strongly condemned the brutal act by whosoever committed and want that the culprit should be dealt with the iron hands, this kind of act is intolerable and unacceptable in the society. They also condemn the State Government for not handing over the case to CBI. They further said that there is every possibility that some innocents might suffer heavily if the report of the Crime Branch is treated as final. There are many loop holes in it which the general public of the area wants to be re-investigated by CBI. Many times it has happened that some persons declared as offenders by the local police have been found innocent by the CBI. The case of School Bus conductor Ashok in the Gurgaon murder case of a School boy is a glaring example. After CBI probe he was proved innocent beyond doubt. They further said that if the people are demanding CBI enquiry what harm in their request. Why government is not interested in handing over the case to CBI? They questioned. Thinking on these lines Former Forest Minister Ch. Lal Singh & Industry Minister Chander Prakash Ganga wanted that no innocent person should suffer & that is why they also stressed for CBI inquiry but their efforts were misinterpreted as supporting & shielding the culprits. |
