| INTUC chalks out May Day function | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 27: A meeting of Executive Body of State Unit of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) under the chairmanship of its President Shiv Kumar Sharma was held here today in which programme was chalked out for "May Day" function, besides organizational matters were also discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma said that this year's "May Day" function will be organized at PCC HQ Shahidi Chowk Jammu on 1st of May 2018 from 10 a.m. onwards. PCC President G.A. Mir shall be the Chief Guest of the function besides many other senior congress leaders shall grace the occasion.
He further said that in view of the retirement of Surinder Singh- Divisional President Water Works (PHE) Employees Association Samba on 30th April 2018, it intends to choose another suitable person for the post of Division President. For this purpose the entire body of Water Works PHE Employees Association Division Samba has been dissolved and Ravi Kumar Khajuria- Vice President INTUC J&K has been appointed Chairman Water Works (PHE) Employees Association Div Samba and he has been delegated the powers to look after the affairs of the division till the new president is appointed. He may appoint some office bearers for its smooth functioning. |
