Jammu, Apr 27: Director General Police SP Vaid today distributed among the winners and runners up team in the final of the Dr. Hedgewar T-20 Kabaddi School Gold Cup
In final of Boys section Ranbir Hr. Sec School beat Raina Hr. Sec. School by 5 points and third position Govt. Hr. Sec. school Khour and play way Hr. Sec. School Pouni Chak and best player of the Tournament was Kazil Rashid of Ranbir Hr. Sec. School and best catcher is Shubam of Ranbir Hr. Sec. School best Raider of the Tournament Abhishek Gupta of Raina Hr. Sec. School.
In Girls section SOS Herman beat St. Francis Hr. Sec. School Akhnoor by 11 points and third place were given to Bhartiya Vidya Mandir and K.V No 1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu best player of the Tournament is Deep Mala of SOS Herman and best Raider Ashu of SOS Herman and best Catcher is Diksha of St. Francis Akhnoor.
The Result of Boys Section Qtr. Final, Raina Hr. Sec. School beat Govt. Hr. Sec. School Phellan Mandal by 25 points, play way beat New National School by 18 points, Govt. Hr. Sec. School Khour beat Raj kamal Hr. Sec. School by 20 points, Ranbir Hr. Sec. School beat Govt. High School Pull Tawi by 6 points.
In first semi final of Boys Raina Hr. Sec. School beat Play way School by 16 points, in 2nd semi final Ranbir Hr. Sec. School beat Govt. Higher Sec. School by 9 points.
The Result of Girls Section Qtr. Final, SOS Herman beat Jagriti Mission by 13 points, K.V. No. 1 Gandhi Nagar beat S.D. Tarapuri by 10 points, St. Francis Akhnoor beat Knit Green Model School by 20 points, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir beat Bhartiya Public High School Birpur by 16 points.
In first semi final of Girls Section SOS Herman beat K.V. No. 1 Gandhi Nagar by 13 points in 2nd semi final St. Francis Hr. Sec. School Akhnoor beat Bhartiya Vidya Mandir by 9 points.
Jammu District Kabaddi Association Organizing Secretary Karunesh Gupta told that on Final day of Dr. Hedgewar T-20 Kabaddi School Gold Cup Chief Guests were Dr. S.P.Vaid DGP.
J&K Police, Anil Gupta President J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Ranjeet Kalara Vice Chairman J&K State Sports Council, Parneesh Mahajan Chairman NSM Group of Colleges and schools and Raman Suri was the Guest of Honour in the presence of Kuldeep Kumar Gupta Chief Executive Officer of Association, B.S,Thirthi Vice President of Association, Surinder Mohan General Secretary of the Association, Karunesh Gupta Organizing Secretary, Rajesh Dhar Media Adviser, Anil Modi Press Secretary, Sangram Singh Treasure of the Association, Dinesh Gupta Secretary Jammu Kabaddi Association, Ashok Singh Manager MA Stadium Jammu, Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Anuradha and Smt. Poonam from Sports Council and Dharamjit Singh and Rakesh Kumar Sharma of J&K Police and Officials from the Youth Services and Sports and BSNL.
Dr. S.P Vaid DGP also appreciated the drive by J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association for promoting the Swedeshi Khel Kabaddi and also motivated the youth for promotion of sports and also disributed the cash prize to winner and Runner -up and also give Gold Chains to best players of the Tournament in
