| 1 killed 10 injured in road mishap | | |

Rajouri, Apr 27: In two separate late evening hours road mishaps reportedly at the same location on Rajouri-Darhal road a boy was killed while other 10 were injured and were admitted in the district hospital.
The deceased who succumbs to critical injuries at district hospital has been identified as Mehraj Ahmed s/o Ghulam Mustaffa r/o Chowkian. All the injured are said to be part of Barat party
Police said a Tempo Traveller bearing registration No.JK11A-7996 was on way to Darhal when it skidded off the road. even persons including deceased were injured in the mishap and were rescued to district hospital.
The injured have been identified as Sarfraz Begam, Mohd Imtiaz both r/o Dassal, Amir Hussain Wajid Hussain, Sajjad Hussain all r/o Chowkian, Abdul Tashid r/o Thanamang.
Near the location of first mishap another car bearing registration No. JK11-9876 met with an accident resulting in injuries to three inmates.
The injured were rescued to sub district hospital at Darhal and have been identified as Ishtiaq Hussain, Tazeem Akhter & Rehana Kouser all resident of Chowkian village.
Immediately after an information of mishaps, Younis Mirza, tehsildar, Darhal along with police team and ambulances rushed to accident sites and shifted the injured to the hospitals.
On the directions from DDC, Shafiq Ahmed, ADC (Kotranka) and Abdul Hamid Choudhry, CPO rushed to district hospital to meet the injured and supervising the treatment process.
