Team Jammu emphasize on role of schools to make drug abuse campaign a mass movement

Jammu, Apr 27: Calling upon the faculties of all big and small private school institutions to come forward and join hands in making drug awareness campaign as mass movement here in the state especially in Jammu Province, Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that drug mafia is making all attempts to trap students in their evil net there by spoiling the future of nation.
While addressing the students of Saraswati Institute of Research and Studies (SIRS) Higher Secondary, Bishnah, where an awareness camp on drug abuse as well as follow traffic rules was organized, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said Team Jammu will leave no stone unturned to take on its fight against drugs to all nook and corner of Jammu region. He said that school going children need to be involved in a big way for spreading the message at the grass root level.
Jamwal further highlighted to the gathering about the dire need for creating awareness amongst the youth especially School and College students about this deadly virus 'Drugs'.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Headquarters, Romesh Kotwal in his address, presented detailed report of the achievement of police in curbing drug menace while arresting scores of drug peddlers and making seizure of hundreds of crores of heroin in past over two years.
Principal, SIRS School, Bishnah, Yogesh Jandial presented welcome address especially thanked Sushil Singh Charak, Chairman, NDA and Sushant Gupta, a Be-Tech Students for making their tireless efforts in making the program a grand success.
