ReT Forum demands delinking of SSA salary, Transfer Policy 4/29/2018 11:44:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 29: The monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers' Forum today held under the leadership of State President Vinod Sharma. The meeting was attended by the executive members of the Forum. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma expressed his deep concern over the failure of the department to pay monthly salary to the SSA teachers who have been living in miserable conditions as their family members are not getting the basic amenities of life like proper food and clothing to their children and medicines to the railing parents .He said that this burning issue has already been taken with the department many times especially with the education minister but except assurances nothing has been done till date to streamline SSA salary. He said that in spite of streamlining SSA salary SPD SSA has issued unjustified circular to director of school education which has put the SSA teachers in mental trauma and ReT Forum condemns such order. He further said that JKRTTF held peaceful protests at all the district headquarters of the state on 25th of April 2018 as a mark of our resentment to press the government to D-Link the SSA salary and further delay in sorting the issue will force the SSA teachers to come on roads. The transfer policy announced by honorable Education Minister on the floor of the house has not been implemented yet and due to such type of hollow assurances ReT teachers of the state are losing faith in the department he said. He announced that ReT teachers are going to celebrate May Day as Black Day by wearing black badges and bandages to show the resentment against the step motherly treatment of the department and further strategy of the forum will be announced shortly. He appealed the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene in this matter so that thousands of SSA teachers of the state may not suffer anymore otherwise ReT teachers would not have any option than to lock the schools for indefinite period and for this extreme step the government will be personally responsible.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
