Jammu, Apr 29: 2nd Martyr's Memorial Badminton Tournament 2018 was inaugurated by Dr. S.D.S. Jamwal , IGP, Jammu Zone at Police Line Badminton Hall Jammu.
The Badminton Tournament organized by Kings Badminton Club Jammu in different age groups. Under 13- 17 boys/Girls, Men/Women. In veterans catagari 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ mixed doubles. About 300 Badminton players of Jammu province are participating in the tournament. Gulzar Singh Slathia former IGP President of the club welcome to the chief Guest, players and other dignities presented.
The IGP Jammu emphasis the roll of sports in channeling the youth energy and put it to productive use. He further outlined the remarkable show of Indian sports person in Just concluded in the commonwealth games at Gold Cost, Australia. He further exhorted the sportsman present to play with Great Spirit of sportsmanship.
