| Handwara, Apr 29: On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi, a statue of Lord Ganesha was today installed in the Ancient Shree Maha Ganesh Ashthpan, Ganesh Mohallah near General Bus Stand Handwara of district Kupwara. Over three hundred people today morning gathered in the locality and amid chanting of religious hymns, the place was firstly worshipped by priests. After conclusion of worshiping ceremony, the statue of lord Ganesha was installed in the ancient site. Later, parsad was also distributed among the devotees, gathered on the occasion. |
