| Dr Manohar Lal Sharma demands judicial probe in working of Himgiri | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, former minister and senior Congress leader has strongly condemned the statement of Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh that the Indian Army is harassing the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Sharma said that Ex Deputy CM is speaking the language of separatists to satisfy their masters and follow their footprints for the sake of power.
It is highly objectionable that BJP and its leadership using such anti national and anti people moves for their political and personal gains compromising the national interest, he said.
Dr. Sharma questioned the central leadership of Bhartiya Janata Party including Narendra Modi why they are mute spectator and completely mum over such issues of national importance. He said that the company Himgiri Infrastructure Development limited was incorporated in the year 2000 by the senior BJP leaders and owes Rs 29.31 Crores to J&K Bank to buy the land next to the Army Ammunition Depot in Nagrota.
He said the account was declared NPA in December last year adding that Dr. Nirmal along with his wife Mamta Singh along with 20 shareholders, promoters, directors and guarantors received a notice from the Bank under section 13(2) of the Securiterisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets & Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI) , 2002. |
