| ReTTF holds meeting, demands release of pending SSA salaries | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 20: ReT teachers Forum (ReTTF) has threatened to lock out all the educational offices if the state government failed to solve SSA salary issue.
The ReTTF held a meeting at zone Dansal of district Jammu today to discuss the burning issues which includes release of SSA salary which is pending for the last 3-4 months, release of arrears of SSA teachers, transfer policy in favor of Regularized ReT teachers as per court order and regularization of Ret teachers whose files are lying in Director Office Jammu. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jamwal provincial president Jammu. A large number of teachers including male and females from different parts of zone participated in the meeting and discussed several issues of the ReTs especially the issue of the SSA salary. Jamwal informed the teachers that Forum has taken a strong stand that if govt. failed to address the issue of SSA Salary and if the salary of SSA teachers for the month of April is released without implementing 7th pay commission in favorof SSA Teachers the Forum will launch a big protest and will not allow any office to work smoothly until the issue of SSA teachers is not addressed. |
