| Havildar injured in CFV in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 20: Pakistan army after a lull of many days today resorted to heavy mortar shelling / firing in Nowshera sub division in Rajouri district in which one havildar has received splinter injuries while manning the forward post in Jhangar sub sector.
After exchange of heavy mortar shelling/ firing on International Border (IB), in which both sides have suffered heavy loss during last few days as for as human lives and infrastructure was concerned, Pakistan army after a lull of many days resorted to unprovoked heavy shelling/firing in Nowshera sub division .
Pakistan army targeted forward posts in Jhangar, Saria, Anwas Bhandar etc areas at about 12 noon and the firing/shelling continued for about one hour.
Havildar Krishna Gurung, manning the forward post received splinter injuries in his both the feet and was provided initial treatment after shifted to nearby army medical centre.
Later he as shifted to army hospital at Rajouri for specialized treatment and was out of danger. In the minth of April two soldiers including a Major and two civilians had received injuries in brorder shelling in Nowshera sub divison. |
