Early Times Report BHADERWAH, May 20: All J&K CP Workers PHE Association Bhaderwah held protest at Launcher Morch filter plant here today. The protesters were demanding regularization and release of their 2 years pending dues.CP workers alleged that despite performing round the clock duties in the most difficult circumstances, they are not being paid their dues, resulting in serious financial and social crisis for them.They demanded that SRO 520 of Government according to which wages of the casual laborers has been increased should be implemented forthwith, so that the suffering laborer class should get the benefits of increased wages. "Keeping in view the pathetic condition of unskilled casual laborers, authorities should take a decision on humanitarian grounds and should fulfill their promises without any further delay, otherwise we will left with no other option but to commit suicide", said Ather Hussain Butt , president CP Worker Association Bhaderwah .The President said that the future of thousands of CP Workers is still hanging in balance despite the fact that they have have been serving the department since years.He demanded from the government to formulate a proper regularization policy for all CP Workers settle all pending issues at the earliest. Among others present were Charanjeet Singh , Sushil Kumar , Jaffar Hussain Dar , Asma Bano , Mohinder Kumar , Shahnaz Begum , Abdul Latief , Naresh Kumar and others . However employees also took out a rally which pass through various areas and they raised slogans against the PHE authorities for ignoring their genuine demands. |
