Jammu, May 20: Inter School district Level Tournament for Girls in the sports discipline of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volley Ball under the age group of 14 and 17 yrs for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu gets under today here at Govt. Boys H/S Jammu Cantt. And M.A. Stadium, Jammu.
Akhnoor Zone Girls lifted twin trophies of under 14 yrs & 17 yrs in Kho-Kho.
On the concluding day in Girls section competitions Semi Finals & Finals were conducted in which Akhnoor Zone Girls overpowered their opponents to lift the trophies in under 14 & 17 yrs age catagories. In Kabaddi Girls U/17 yrs close contest was seen in the summit clash in which R.S. Pura Zone beat Jammu Zone by a narrow margin of 01 point.
On the occasion of closing ceremony Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu distributed trophies to the winners and runners up of the tournaments in presence of All the Zonal Physical Education Officers of District Jammu and Headmaster, Govt. Boys High School Jammu Cantt. |
