| Termination of workers Sparks Protest in industrial area | | |

UDHAMPUR, May 24: Workers of MCB Electrol (Tube Light Factory) located Battal Ballian Udhampur today strong protest against management of the company at industrial estate here today.
The employees alleged that they have been working for many years in the company but their salary has not been increased and no increment was given to them. They said that the company is not paying to them as per government norms and without given any reason employees were expelled from the company and has not only increased their salary.
The protestors alleged that every year 10 percent increment is given by the authorities but this year they terminates seven workers for raising issue. They alleged that earlier the authorities terminated five workers. |
