Manmohan Singh visits relief camps, lambasts Pakistan | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 24: Ch Manmohan Singh Vice Chairman JKMSCL and President All India Jat Mahasabha J&K along with various members of SGPC visited Government Medical College Jammu to meet the victims of ongoing border firing. He was shocked to see the pathetic condition of patients and passed strict instructions on spot to the team of doctors accompanying him to provide best possible treatment and all medicines from hospital stock. He assured the patients that they will be given best care and treatment. He lambasted Pakistan for the gruesome acts and said that Pakistan should be taught a good lesson by the government once for all. He also highlighted the ill mentality of Pakistan who has no little regard for even holy days of Ramzan and couldn't resist itself from cease fire violation and killing innocent people and cattle by unprovoked fire. Ch Manmohan reiterated and urged the state government to consider long and genuine demand of border people and allot five Marlas plot at safer place. He also demanded that Rs 5 lakh to the next of kin who lost their lives, Rs 2 lakh for injured persons, Rs. 50,000 for each cattle killed and Rs. 20,000 for injured cattle should be paid on priority. |
