Jammu, May 24: Inter School district level competitions in the sports discipline of Hockey (Girls), football (Boys), under the age group of 14 and 17yrs today hed at Hakku Stadium & GGM Science College.
Govt. MS Gorkha Nagar Girls U/14 yrs & Govt. MS Akalpur Girls U/17 yrs lifts championship in Hockey.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the tournament.
The football competitions are re-scheduled by the organizers due to reporting of large number of teams. Now, the Semi Finals in football U/14 yrs & 17 yrs (Boys) shall be played tomorrow. |
