JAMMU, May 24: A five days training programme was inaugurated at Dogra Hr Sec School, Shastri Nagar here. The programme was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the guidance of Addl. Director General of police, HG / CD & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
In her speech she highlighted the set up of the organization and the main aim of the training programme to facilitate the students and staff members with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence. In the training camp the students were given the knowledge regarding First Aid & Fire Fighting with rescue techniques.
Parmjit Kumar, Chief Warden also shared his views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques and Disaster Management. Davinder Kour, Principal of the school appreciated the role of Civil Defence and requested to conduct such training programmes in future also. At least 60 students and staff members attended the training programme. |
