Jammu, May 25: All Jammu and Kashmir (all departments) Engineering Draftsman Association (AJKEDA) today constituted the central body electing Mahesh Sharma as its chairman. The Association members said that for the last many years, it has been felt that there must be a Central body of the draftsmen, who have been working in various engineering wings of the government departments. Finally after hectic efforts, a central body was constituted in a meeting held at Srinagar, where delegates from all engineering wings of government departments were present. The delegates unanimously elected Mahesh Sharma as chairman, along with two separate bodies of the organization, one each for Jammu and Kashmir. The Kashmir unit of Association is headed by Altaf Hussian Wani as president, Javed Ahmed Khan and Bilal Ahmed as vice presidents, Irshad Ahmed General Secretary.
The Jammu unit is headed by President Balbir Singh, whereas Gautam Raina and Shashi Bhushan as vice presidents, Pankaj Raina as general secretary, Organizing Secretary Rajinder Kumar, Sanjay Gupta as treasurer, and Bodh Raj as publicity secretary. |
